Marketing & IndieBazaar

hey everyone! We know it's the Summertime blues in retail and with this heat, even worse!  So this is the time to ramp up production, put things on sale, supplement with Etsy and other avenues.
We did a quick glance and many of you need to update your booths, stock and restock, as in retail, if you are not constantly revamping and adding inventory, you will see stale sales.  Many of our customers are repeats, and if they become bored, they will not come back.
Robbie Jenkins, Regeared, Linda Young and Vintage Coquette are perfect examples of restocking and revamping at least 2 times a month, or on their shifts and they are consistently seeing great sales in their booths, both in handmade and vintage. A bit of rearranging and re-merchandising can go a long way!

Thank you to those that came out for the street team meeting, we are excited to begin hanging posters and consistently putting out flyers in your areas of town.

Please be sure you are promoting via facebook, your blogs, and email lists.

Here is a great article from our friends at Funky Finds on Consistent Promotions:

The next IndieBazaar will be October 22nd-23rd, applications will be posting this weekend!  We have also found out that the Blues BBQ and Bandits event will be the same weekend here in Oak Cliff at Lake Cliff Park.  We are hoping it has cooled down by then!
