Post to your local online bulletin boards, pta groups, and your facebook, twitter, email campaigns
New Flyers and Posters will be in store on Thursday during the event, so we encourage you to pick some up and help out with this! We are also looking for 3 street team leads, for the next 5 months, there is very minimal time requirements, however its great to have some of you who are always out and about leading the charge.
IndieGenius Ambassadors
We have assigned ambassadors to sections of indiegenius, providing you with someone that can quickly answer questions and address any issues. You will receive a post here in the next 2 days with your ambassador’s name. This person will be your first point of contact and will pass anything on to me that they are not able to address you with. In addition, there is a google group that will help you with things like getting a shift covered, your ambassador will roll this out next week and invite you to the group and provide you with rules and regulations for using this group and what it’s purpose is.
Upcoming Events at IndieGenius:
June 24th – 3rd Thursday Happy Hour (be sure to stock your spaces and invite your lists, see event listing to share on Facebook)
July 21st – Oak Cliff Women in Business gathering at IG – 6-9pm (we are looking for some snacks to be brought out, like last time, if you remember we had a GREAT sales night last time we hosted this event)
July 23rd – The Very Green Social – Hosted by L&W green magazine, she is seeking new stories for the online launch of this magazine and we are getting great press and recognition for hosting this event and expect a great turn out. Once again, we would love some folks to volunteer to bring food. We will provide all the wine and beer for all events. This is also our 3rd Thursday happy hour event.
September – Date yet to be announced, we’ll know in the coming week, Indoor/Outdoor bazaar
December – First weekend is most likely our Indoor/Outdoor bazaar to happen alongside the Jingle Bells event held each year in Bishop Arts District; we will confirm this in coming weeks as well.
We are trying to book 1 event in addition to the 3rd Thursday Happy Hour each month to help bring more people in.
BEINDIEGENIUS.COM features:
We are going to be posting a form here for you to fill out if you would like to feature your new products on the blog. We will give you a set number of characters, you can use this to feature new products you have jsut dropped off, events you have coming up, sales, or just promote your products in general.
We will copy and paste your paragraph and attach a picture taken from your space. Each week we will feature 10-15 designers/vendors. We encourage you to take advantage of this as we will be sharing it on our facebook and twitter as well.
Be sure you “like” us on Facebook, this is the best way to “share” events and press we are receiving with your lists of folks!
